A core group is not a worship service or a Bible study. It is a community where anyone can explore the hope of Christianity and where followers of Christ can be equipped to share their hope through the birth of a new church. You don't have to be a believer to be part of the core group. You must simply be willing to walk with us in order to help launch the public worship service of Hope Presbyterian Church in the fall of 2017.

This fall, we are discussing hard questions about reality. Is the Bible a myth? Hasn't science disproved Christianity? How can you say there is only one way to God? Why does God allow suffering? In our socially and politically divided world, it is difficult to have a civil conversation with those who profoundly disagree with our deepest held convictions about the world and faith. Many people (religious and irreligious) sincerely doubt the truth claims of Christianity. We want to create a place where people can voice and discuss these doubts in a truthful and gentle manner. In order to facilitate this, we will watch and discuss Tim Keller's "Reason for God" DVD series and enjoy a meal together.
